I can't remember if I got into them because of how sexy I thought goth boys were or if it was vice versa — but regardless, it was like napalm on my popradio-encrusted brain. Good times!

The politics of their lyrics never really sunk in on my entitled ass. it's definitely time for a revisit! I may blacken my nails for the occasiongraham!https://www.blogger.com/profile/15220542587340415083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5629764869954858933.post-45492821745168747372008-09-06T18:46:00.000-07:002008-09-06T18:46:00.000-07:00Check it out, I just recently found and put this p...Check it out, I just recently found and put this photo online of me and my friends in 1996 and I'm totally wearing a Skinny Puppy t shirt! You can even kiiiind of make out the Skinny Puppy patch on my backpack!

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3206/2820443144_949d65bfe4_b.jpg

Dude I was SOOOO into them in the late 90s! I still remember listening to Vivisect VI like OVER AND OVER AGAIN. And their live tape... I forget what it was called... that was probably my favorite one of all. Though I've always tended to like live albums a lot, I also used to listen to the Cure's "Show" nonstop when I was 14 or 15 and nowadays my favorite DVD is Bouncing Souls: Live at the Glasshouse.

Aw man I have so many fond goth kid memories of Skinny Puppy!! You have made them all come flooding back to me like so much unfortunate eye makeup!Liz Bailliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17015685739262515246noreply@blogger.com
